The work has an output
What you work towards.
- A cover checked for readability at a small size.
- A description, category choices and keyword fields.
- Recorded price, royalty and exclusivity decisions.
- A publication checklist and checks against the live edition.
- A final archive ZIP and book ledger for this book. Keep each book’s decisions and files separate.
- Cover prompts for an image tool of your choice, or a designer’s brief, with front and full-wrap checks.
You choose the direction and approve the work. Keep the guide for future books, with a separate folder for each project.

A useful starting point
Before you begin.
Your Part 5 handover ZIP, checked print and ebook files, build report and cover brief. Cover tools are supplied with this part. You review the proof, make your own declarations and press Publish yourself. An image-generation plan is only needed if you choose an image tool for your cover.
Use the PDF in Claude Cowork on your desktop, with a connected browser (Claude in Chrome or the app’s browser). Attach the previous handover ZIP and paste its start prompt, or type go. External subscriptions are separate. A standalone purchase needs equivalent input files; the guide checks what is missing. If you are unsure whether your files are sufficient, email the team before buying.
Ask the team about your starting point. See the book our complete workflow produced, from research to published paperback and Kindle edition. See the real book and process.
